Multi-city mobile clocks

Live digital clocks for the cities you choose, plus a wake-up alarm set to that city’s time. Finished product.

Problem: Several cities means several clocks. A clock that does not ring does not wake you.

What it does: Choose the cities once. Set a wake-up alarm on that city’s local time. Tap to arm the sound on this device, keep the page open, and it rings until you stop it.

Platforms: Web · Android · iPhone / iPad · Windows · macOS

Web, Android, Windows, macOS, and iPhone/iPad as a home-screen web app. A locked iPhone may not ring.

YouTube Assistant

Personal web playback assistant. It can resume a paused video. When YouTube displays its own Skip Ad button, a session control can activate that button.

Problem: A long viewing session pauses, or YouTube shows its own Skip Ad button, and the viewer has to click again.

What it does: Resume a paused video. Activate YouTube’s displayed Skip Ad button when it becomes available. Playback stays on YouTube.

Platforms: Web

Web. The same description is on the Projects page.

Lyrics & E-book Generator

Finished workbook: authorised lyrics in, an indexed booklet out, for personal or approved publishing work.

Problem: Approved sung versions, lyrics and booklet structure are usually scattered across files.

What it does: Keep title, language and authorised lyrics together, then compile a simple indexed booklet before any later Amazon or print step.

Private beta

LetterPilot

Personal portfolio project, private beta. Paste a letter or keep a photo on this device, confirm a detected date and amount, and draft a template reply.

Problem: An official letter arrives. Dates, amounts and the next action are easy to miss, and the file is left unfinished.

What it does: Today: take a photo or choose one from the gallery, confirm the facts, copy a draft reply. Later: the same file stays open until the matter is closed.

Beta now: Working: paste letter text; detect one date and one CHF, EUR or USD amount when the pattern matches; confirm them; copy a template reply in English, French or German. A photo can be taken or chosen and stays on the device. It is not read into text. Nothing is sent.

Finished product: Not built: extracting the sender or the required action from any letter, and keeping the file open until the matter is closed.

Platforms: Web · Android · iPhone / iPad

Private beta on iPhone and iPad (Safari), web and Android. Invitation code required. Add it to the home screen from Safari’s Share menu.
